The benefits of therapeutic massage
Reflexology belongs to the natural medicines. It is an ancient treatment that originates from Chinese medicine and acupuncture.
It is based on the principle that by applying pressure to reflex points (on hands, face and feet), the various glands, organs and tissues are correspondingly affected.
Feet, hands and the face are like a small map of our body.
A touch applied to specific areas locates tension thus restoring the balance of the body.
Reflexology releases the natural self-healing power of the body. This is a manual technique which deals with the body in its entirety. Reflexology helps to relieve various disorders without medication.
There are several types of Reflexology: foot reflexology, hand reflexology, facial and head reflexology.
Examples of stress-related symptoms
Constant stress on the body deteriorates it prematurely which has the effect of accelerating the aging of cells.

Swedish massage
Swedish massage is a manual oil therapy created in the 19th century by Per Henrik Ling.
Using both gentle and dynamic pressure, Swedish massage relieves muscle tension while improving blood circulation. It helps stretch tendons and ligaments and relaxes muscles.
The effectiveness of this massage extends to the elimination of lactic and uric acids as well as all other types of metabolic wastes in the body. With these toxins eliminated, lymphatic and blood circulation is rejuvenated.
The invigorating and relaxing effect of Swedish massage helps the body to regain its natural balance.
Swedish massage involves several techniques that range from kneading, touching, friction, percussion, through to vibration.
Acupressure
Acupressure comes from Chinese medicine and acupuncture. It involves a gentle pressure made with the thumb usually through a towel to enable a deep penetration on the points.
The acupressure focuses on the points located along the 12 meridian lines. It combines perfectly with other techniques such as essential oil massage, reflexology and Thai-shiatsu by complementing and efficiently improving these methods.
It is a great method to fight against and relieve many daily problems (back problems, sleeping disorders, bone and joint problems, headaches etc …).
Indian facial massage
This technique involves massage of the scalp, face, neck, shoulders and ears; combining gentle and soothing movements with pressure points.
Indian massage is based on the marma points (vital energy points) which are found on the head, neck, and face.
The benefits of this Ayurvedic massage are numerous. It stimulates blood circulation of the face leaving it radiant. It stimulates energy points and relieves blockages in the sinuses. It improves the elasticity and tone of the skin, effectively slowing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Above all, Indian facial massage relieves pain and stiffness in the neck and skull, reducing headaches due to stress and eye fatigue.
